After Port Townsend

Our planning was good for Port Townsend.  We got there about noon and we decided to go right to North Beach.  However, much to our surprise there wasn't much there in the way of sea glass.  Sure we got some pieces but not like the larger pieces we got last year.
Kari's mouth was bothering her too because of the dentist so we decided to go into town and get lunch.  The town was made in the 1880's and the buildings are all Victorian in the downtown area.  There was a Victorian Festival going on so there were people who lived in the area dressed up in Victorian clothes walking down the street or acting out a job they did back then such as a doorman at the hotel.

We went to Public House for lunch and then went window shopping in the Victorian downtown area.  I did end up buying a necklace for when I wear black (more about that later).  We then went to check into our motel.

The next day we went back to North Beach with kites we had bought the boys.  The day was sunny and the breeze off the water was perfect for kite flying.  Here is Riley's kite flying high...

After our kite flying and more sea glass hunting we went off to have lunch and headed home.

Have a good week!!!
